What Employers Need to Know About the Massachusetts Equal Pay Act

Last July, the Massachusetts legislature approved an Act to establish pay equity, commonly referred to as the Massachusetts Equal Pay Act. The law, which goes into effect on July 1, 2018, amends the current statutory prohibition against gender-based pay inequity by strengthening the protections offered to workers.
