Kim Keating is CEO & Founder of Keating Advisors. With more than 20 years of experience, Kim serves as a trusted advisor to organizations in helping develop effective talent management strategies. She specializes in working with leaders to align their business strategy, organization design, and compensation practices to attract and retain top talent and deliver improved results. Kim also speaks, conducts workshops, and advises professionals on how to negotiate equitable pay.
Prior to founding Keating Advisors, Kim was a consultant at Mercer Human Resource Consulting and Sibson & Company, human capital consulting firms where she worked with organizations to address strategic human resources challenges. Her senior corporate roles include leading the rewards function for The Advisory Board Company, a research think-tank, and the Motley Fool, a financial education company. Preceding her human resources career, Kim was a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley Investment Bank and Chief Financial Officer at Teach for America.
Kim holds an M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and a B.B.A. in Finance from Southern Methodist University. Kim was awarded an International Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship and studied at the United States International University in Nairobi, Kenya.
Kim is also a contributing author to the book, Lean In for Graduates. She is a frequent contributor to the Huffington Post and has been published in the WorldatWork and CUPA HR Journals, as well as featured in numerous business and women’s publications, including Washington Business Journal, Glamour Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine. Kim is currently a board member of Leanin.org Foundation, whose mission is to encourage women to pursue their ambitions, and NURU International, a nonprofit dedicated to ending global extreme poverty.

Jenn Wendus is a principal at Keating Advisors. Jenn is an experienced compensation professional with ten years of experience in human resources consulting. She has a proven track record in project management, leading compensation analyses and systems development, and developing organizational total rewards strategy. Jenn takes a methodical, organized approach to problem solving and enjoys collaborating with clients to help support their human capital needs.
Jenn has worked with clients in a variety of industries including nonprofit, government contracting, technology, energy, local banking, education (elementary, secondary and higher education), educational testing/assessment, and professional services. Her specialties include staff compensation, nonprofit executive compensation, market pay studies, salary structure design, incentive compensation plan design, custom compensation surveys, performance management, career pathing, talent management, and organizational development.
Jenn is a member of Society for Human Resource Management, WorldatWork Total Rewards Association and the Northeast Human Resources Association. Jenn completed her B.A. magna cum laude at American University in Washington, DC. She holds a Masters in Organizational Sciences with a concentration in Organizational Management from The George Washington University.
Glenn Dalton is a principal at Keating Advisors, St. Louis, MO. Glenn is nationally recognized for his expertise in optimizing organizations’ investments in human capital, and for linking those investments to business strategy. Glenn helps clients solve their HR concerns with positive impact on the bottom line. His open and direct approach has been effectively applied from the executive suite to the union shop floor. He has unique experience in helping companies and unions collaborate on critical issues.
Prior to joining Keating Advisors, Glenn was a partner with Axiom Consulting Partners, and a principal with Sibson & Company. Glenn was also a Director, Human Resources for Ralston Purina Company’s Pet Food Group, Ralston’s Corporate Director of Labor Relations and Employment Law. During his 20-year career at Ralston, he held senior legal and human resources positions.
Glenn earned his J.D. law from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, MO, and a B.A. from Hendrix College.
Andrea Averill is a principal at Keating Advisors, Philadelphia, PA. Andrea brings a breadth of knowledge and expertise in working with clients to diagnose, evaluate, and implement effective total reward strategies and compensation programs that drive both individual and business performance.
Andrea has extensive experience in the development and implementation of compensation philosophies, strategies, and programs for the broad-based employee population, as well as executive, technical and sales force population. Her work includes managing industry compensation surveys and comprehensive market pay studies.
Andrea studied at Purdue University and Loyola University, from which she received her bachelor of sciences degree. She also has a master’s degree in industrial relations, specializing in compensation management and plan design, from Loyola University of Chicago.
Carolyn Bjorkquist is a compensation consultant at Keating Advisors. Carolyn has a combined 9 years of experience in compensation and HR consulting in the Chicago, IL area. Her areas of compensation expertise include market pricing, base pay and incentive administration. In addition, Carolyn has experience managing the employee engagement survey process for Fortune 500 clients.
Carolyn holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Indiana University and a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Roosevelt University.
Charlotte Silag is a compensation consultant at Keating Advisors. Charlotte has over ten years of combined experience in compensation, recruiting, and performance management with government contracting organizations in the Washington, D.C. area. She has extensive expertise in market pricing, salary and bonus planning, incentive plan administration, and job evaluation and analysis.
Charlotte received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology and holds an M.B.A from Old Dominion University. Charlotte is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and a member of WorldatWork.
